To do this, you need to keep the anchor in the opponent's "home" until you have an opportunity to knock out the opponent's checker or move this pair of checkers closer to the "home" when a double is rolled.

Therefore, it is always worth monitoring the game and actions of the opponent and changing the strategy depending on this.
